Transaction Items

Imagine going to the supermarket and buying 1kg of steak, a bunch of bananas and some sticky tape.

If you are budgeting or just want to know how much you spend on food vs household items, you might have a category for each. You may even break Food into subcategories such as Meat and Groceries. You probably don’t want to bother creating a separate transaction for each, especially if you used a card to make your purchase, so you can separate your purchase into Items (each item with its own Category) under the one Transaction.

The total is calculated automatically.
